California’s Joshua Tree National park is a mesmerizing desert landscape. The namesake of the park, the Joshua Tree, is a wild looking plant of odd angles and patterns that contacts with the rolling terrain of boulders and rock formations. The park's unique blend of Mojave and Colorado deserts creates a surreal setting of twisted Joshua tree branches reaching towards the sky against a backdrop of vast, open skies.
We were inspired by all the complexities and colors of this park and wanted to capture its uniqueness in our sticker design. Hidden oases and dry washes offer glimpses of life in the desert such as rattlesnakes and hares, while the contrasting beauty of the landscape is accentuated by vibrant sunsets that paint the horizon in hues of orange, pink, and purple. Exploring Joshua Tree is a journey into a stark yet captivating world where the harsh beauty of the desert reveals its wonder to those who wander its sandy trails.
